I’m excited to announce that I am partnering with a local pastry chef, Selvia Tjandra-Stothers, offering smash cakes to my one year portrait clients! If you want to go simple and choose from a few options, she’s custom created some you can find below to choose from. She is hugely talented and can also make a custom smash cake for your next session with me. Many local bakeries either really up-charge on smash cakes or require you purchase a full sized sheet cake before they will sell you the smaller smash cake.

Of course you little one will be smashing this cake, but you want it to taste good too since 1) the objective is for your kiddo to want to eat it and 2) you’ll likely want to take what’s left home to enjoy yourself. I’ve had Selvia make my own son’s smash cake, my birthday cake and my preschooler’s cake! The reviews are overwhelmingly positive, naturally!
