As a family photographer, I love getting the privilege of watching couples become parents. When someone books a maternity and newborn package with me, this (and when they book a cake smash too) is one of my favorite things about my job. So when P. booked her maternity session and I saw her around 34 weeks, I was thrilled I’d get to see her babe on the outside too.
Baby A. was a tiny, sweet peanut of a little boy. He gave the sweetest smiles and can you believe that wonderful head of hair? For his newborn photo session colors we went traditional, with earthy blues and neutral grays. It is a timeless backdrop to feature the newborn’s portraits, without being in your face and all about the setting rather than them.
I loved working with this family, they were all a delight!
