Special gallery coming at you today! This is a dear friend, and my Hey Mama podcast co-host, Laura, and her family. Since we shot this in the first weekend in November, before daylight saving time, sunrise wasn’t until 7:26am. Perfectly reasonable to me, as I have young children – waking up early is normal for me. That said, I’m not a masochist, so I wanted to make sure I did this when sunset was at its latest.
I mentioned to Laura that I wanted to find a family up for a fall sunrise session on the Brooklyn Bridge. She happened to mention the idea to her husband and he thought it was perfect for them to try. She’s got two boys, who know me well, and we all braved fairly cool temperatures for some really neat shots.
