Baby J.’s mama book me 3 or 4 months before her due date – this is an ideal time to book your newborn photographer. What that also means, is that by the time I get your baby in my studio I’ve been anticipating meeting not only the little one, but you as well! It is wild how I have a conversation or two with expecting parents in the lead up to their baby’s birth, without ever seeing their faces!
This little man and his family were the sweetest. He was just content to let us enjoy his sweet chubby cheeks, with a very chill disposition for a first baby. He has this amazing head of hair and his sweet proud dad was excited to give him a little baby fauxhawk.
J.’s family are Yankees fans, and the Yankees were in the playoffs at the time. As such, we put the most darling little cap on him to honor their fandom. Unlike a lot of props that parents bring in, the cap fit perfectly! (Somehow a lot of newborn props that parents bring in end up being huge.)
