I took this mama’s maternity portraits in my favorite local park, and the park didn’t disappoint. If we catch sunset at just the right time, it is truly magical, and this session was no exception. Also magical was the future big brother, who quickly became my new favorite tiny human after my own sons. C. was charming, sweet and calm – as a three year old he’s just starting to acquire reason, and is past the wildness of the twos.
What was really fun was that his mom wanted to make sure we captured some images of her playing soccer with C.! Mind you, she is 36 weeks pregnant here, so I was so intensely impressed. Generally my client here is a badass mama, going back to work in less than 4 weeks for her first baby. While I wish she didn’t have to, I admire her strength in doing so.
