How gorgeous is this little gal? Baby girl E was a dream to photograph, though naturally only mildly interested in the cake smash aspect of her session. That seems to be how it goes with the 1 year olds that come through my studio, and is also true of my own child at their one year mark: they don’t know that cake is THE BEST, just yet. They’ll figure it out, but for now no amount of “but its delicious!” entices the kiddos to go at it with the gusto I would if given carte blanche to eat like the beast I’d like to be when faced with cake. Anyways, little E was so delicate about her cake but still tasted as much as she felt appropriate and was a calm, chill lady the entire session. Her parents were lovely and absolutely super fun and into whatever I asked of them to get their gal to engage with the camera. What a lovely family and darling photos if I say so myself.
