The fact that newborns stay little for an insanely short period of time is a cliche. We all know that they’re going to change and that’s the hope of it all. But it is a cliche for a reason. They change quickly and in the moment it seems like they will look like this forever. Of course, before you know it you’ll be saying “that was only 6 months ago? that was 3 years ago already?” The point is, in the haze of new parenting you have very little time to savor how truly tiny these humans are that you’ve welcomed into your life. Sure, you can snap those casual every day pictures with your phone – these are important ways to document their growth. But trusting a photographer to capture your sweet babe elevates their image to artwork. Your child is already perfect, my job is to turn that perfection into an heirloom you can display in your home as a priceless piece of that short period of time.
