I think I always say that every type of photography is my favorite but I truly love being a newborn photographer. I love holding babies, I never mind rocking babies (especially other people’s) and I don’t mind giving these little sweet lovelies back to their parents at the end of the session. Today’s sweet baby H. is no exception. She started out the session a little feisty, and perhaps needed a little time to adjust to being a baby model but once she settled in she was terrific! She definitely knows her mind – there were certain poses that weren’t her thing and so myself as the newborn photographer am here to recognize that and move on to things she was ok with. These babies will tell you what to do if you just listen to them!
Her big sister was also super well behaved, at just 3.5 I thought I needed to pull out all my three year old tricks but she posed as I asked! I was able to take way more sibling and newborn shots than I normally do, since the sibling is not always cool with posing with the newest tiny human in their life taking away mom and dad’s attention.
Her mama had a clear vision of the colors she wanted and I am more than happy to make that a reality. Take a look at this gorgeous family!
