Newborn Photos at the Beach | Westchester, NY

I cannot tell you how excited I was for this one. This was at a beach in Westchester and my first newborn shoot that wasn’t either in the studio or at a client’s home. We lucked into a nice day with the perfect temperature for a new little one, who stayed safe in mom or dad’s arms the entire time.

Her parents mentioned that Baby E. ran hot so we did a few images of her in an adorable pair of monogrammed bloomers. As the temperature looked to begin to inch down, we swaddled her up – all the better to show off her amazing head of hair.  The beach that her parents chose was stunning and we had a bit of clouds floating by as the sun set, making the sky look incredible. The entire family is amazingly photogenic, as was the changing area you see in the photos. It was a photographer’s dream! It is shoots like this that will keep me warm as I look to the winter months, when my photo shoots will mostly take place indoors.
