This maternity photo session also doubled as a family session and is the first of a two-session package that my client booked with me, the next one being the newborn shoot (I’m so excited to share that next!). My mama here wanted to capture the whole family, as opposed to just focusing on the maternity aspect, as they prepare to complete their family. You’ll notice the pink skirt she wears beautifully – she was convinced she was having a girl, as the gender would be a surprise. You’ll have to wait for the newborn session post to find out! The family was low key, fun and anything but stuffy or formal. Bonus points for me – with two boys almost the same age separation as mine, but 4 years into the future, I was tickled to get a taste of the kind of boy fun/craziness I could look forward to.
We shot this maternity photo session on a beach in Rye, which is completely gorgeous and I can’t wait to go visit in the summer months and enjoy the gorgeous sand.
