Newborn In Home Photos | Westchester, NY

I got really lucky this month and booked several newborn shoots (several – who am I?), all of whom I could not be more excited to share with the world. Check out this peanut’s home newborn photos – Baby H is a delicate little thing, and though she is completely normal in weight, she had this light, airy quality about her.  Her parents were super chill, with her mama having none of the usual new mom nervousness.  She seemed completely at ease and unsurprised with anything her baby did or any ideas I had to try.  It made for easy shooting! Not to mention they had the cutest little girly things all over that were just a dream to photograph.  Again, I realized what fun in-home newborn sessions were (also called lifestyle newborn sessions, but I don’t know if anyone other than photographers call them this).  It’s really great for someone who is ok with furniture being moved and a stranger coming in to what is usually a home undergoing big lifestyle changes! Studio newborn sessions and in home session each have their own perks, look and drawbacks for clients so its all about weighing what works best and what pictures speak to you the most.  Enjoy this little one!
