Sweet little N. was in my studio recently for some toddler portraits and family portraits! Little dude wasn’t sure what to make of me at first, but gradually warmed up. One year olds are so fun, and though most are crawling by now, many aren’t yet walking. Even if they are walking, they don’t have too many crazy ideas so have the personality of a toddler but often the chill of an infant. N. was no exception.
We always start with the one year portraits first, while the little one is still fresh. Trust me, these 12 month olds get tired! That way, we end up with portraits of them with their parents once they’ve started to wear on the idea of sitting in one place. Mom and Dad flipped the little guy around, and it was really hard to take a bad picture of anyone. How sweet do Mom and little guy look together?! One hopes that these photos get printed and put on their wall for years to come.
