This next session’s family showed me what a small world our little corner of Westchester County can be. Little baby T. has an older brother who takes swim lessons at the same place that my sons do, so now I get to see him grow! Usually my newborn photography clients come through, I may see their littles a few more times for family sessions and Christmas card portraits. This one I have gotten to see almost every week! Little T. was 3 weeks old when his mom brought him in and soooo sleepy. I rarely get a sleepy 3 week old so he was a dream! Not to mention, he was past the baby acne phase and had the dreamiest skin tone. But also: those cheeks! Who doesn’t love a snuggly set of chubby cheeks? He also let me wrap him as I wished, without much fuss. Overall this was an easy session and I rarely say that about newborns, who usually make me work for them – I mean they are the boss of the session. But this little dude was content and chill, a personality trait I hope he keeps for his parents as he grows up.
