This baby girl came into the studio at 5 days old, and was just a dream to photograph, not only because she was sleepy but because she is just stunningly gorgeous! Her mama didn’t look like she had a baby at all and I had to keep asking her – you just had a baby a week ago? Are you sure? She looked incredible and just seemed so serene about her new family. Big sister was super amazing to shoot as well, helpful and sweet. I was also grateful to have a little friend for my son to play with, since he’s at home most of the time, it’s nice to get new kids to interact with beyond his sitter. The benefit of being a mom to young kids too is that we can send her into the toy room with her dad and she gets a bonanza of new toys to occupy her while we kept photographing her little sister.
Her mama was totally up for my different prop ideas, cool with me arranging flowers around her, and ready with a pacifier if we needed it! All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed this family, and hope you (and they) love the photos!
